We want to try T-Rex out on our visit, my question is, do we need reservations to eat there? Are there any special sections we should ask to sit in the restaurant.

They do take reservations, but not through Disney Dinning. You need to call the restaurant directly. I called 2 weeks ago to make a dinner reservation and was told that before 5pm you can get in without much of a wait, but after 6pm it is usually at least an hour wait.

The restaurant consists of several different themed rooms....I can't remember them all, but there is the ice room and the fern room...I will be requesting the fern room when I check in for our reservation. Allears has some pictures of the different rooms.

Hope this helps!

I would definetly call to make a reservation. There was another thread on here about T-Rex with the phone #. You can also google and it comes right up. I made a reservation for 7/30 at 6 p.m. They just take your name and put it on their list for that night.
