What did they offer and what were the prices? Thanks!!

I have not eaten there but walked over to see the inside and it really looks neat. My 22 year old daughter wants to eat there in June when we go.

The Portable Perks booklet for Jan-June, 2009 says T-Rex is a 10% discount on lunch and dinner entrees (guess it doesn't include drinks).

I'm sure you need to let the server know during the ordering process -- or they may bring your check and then have to go back and redo it (hard to know when that check might appear at most restaurants). (sometimes servers need reminding as well -- be sure you check your bill to see that it is accounted for).

we were just there last week and it was awesome, a definite must do and see. yes they have a children's menu but sorry don't remember what was on it. they do give a 10% discount but only on entrees and there was a limit, it wasn't on the entire check. we couldn't figure it out and our server wasn't sure the details, we just took what we got.

The Rainforest Discount is 10% OR a free appy of the day. They usually allow you to pick from 3 of the cheaper ones. This is the same discount as you get at RFC (and other Landry's restaurans as long as they are in business) as well, not 20%. Last I heard they had not decided if they were going to honor the front of the line benefit for the Safari Club but it seemed they were leaning toward a yes.

We are here now staying at SSR. Went to T-Rex on Sunday and our family decided we liked it better than Rainforest. DH and I split the cheesesteak and both DS had the popcorn shrimp. Both were very good. I forgot to bring my member card for the discount but the room key also states DVC Member so the server checked and he could use that for the discount. I asked if there was a discount for DVC before ordering so the server would know to process it on the check later.

Hopefully heading to AK Rainforest for breakfast if I can get everyone moving this morning!

How do I get a copy of the '09 Perks?

I requested the DVC sale info online and it came with the book and DVD about buying into DVC (I don't know if that's always the case). I'm just guessing that it's the one people say they get on check-in (June is going to be my first SSR visit).
