T-Rex restaurant

I thought I'd read somewhere that there was supposed to be a T-Rex restaurant being built in DTD. Any news?

We were there during Christmas and the building had already begun. There were signs announcing it and some walls were already up. It is located in the area past the McDonald's, but before Pleasure Island.

It's going up right across from Fulton's.

Personally I plan to avoid it like the plague, so I didn't notice if they'd put up a specific opening date, but they may have had something up like Fall 2008.

We were there about 10 days ago and it did have a generic time frame on it but I don't remember what exactly it said. It is going up fast. We were there a month ago too and there is a big difference. If the size of the base area is any indication, it will be huge! Looks like lots of fun though!

I read on another disney site that it should open in Summer 2008. The construction pictures make it look like it's going up quickly. I can't wait to try it on my next trip. Looks like fun!

Eating in a noisy room with roaring dinosaurs is somewhere near the bottom of my list.

Now if they have a bar with some interesting drinks, that might be different.

Never been a big fan of food at Rainforest and it's run by the same people. (So is Yak & Yeti but I haven't been there yet).

I've got Victoria & Alberts, I'm glad to leave this one for the folks with kids.

My brother was there this weekend, and apparently the timeframe is now Fall 2008.

My 4yo daughter has been a dinosaur-aholic for about a year now. I have a feeling our next trip is going to fall whenever this restaurant opens. Can't wait to hear more about it.

We keep meaning to go to the one here (KC) but haven't made it yet. Our 4 year old isn't a big fan of loud noises but he managed Rainforest okay the other week. When we make it I'll let you know what we think.
