T-Rex manager worked after testing positive

I hope that's not true but T-Rex really needs to put out a better statement than what they have to address it. We have loved eating there on our trips and they've been great with allergies but if their corporate culture is like that - I would want no part of eating there or any of their restaurants. I think if it was not true that their statement would have said that already so :crazy2:

Why do they need to put out a statement at all? It's a rumor and I dont see Disney responding to every rumor that is out on Facebook.

If management really did knowlingly allow a covid positive person to conttinue to work for a week I'm not going there. If that isn't what happened they should say something. It is not a good look
Why shouldn't we just assume that it's just a disgruntled employee just trying to make them look bad? This is what's wrong with society, everyone assumes what they see on social media is a fact instead of the other way. That's why we have the problems we do now. Everyone automatically goes to the negative instead of looking that it may just me a rumor.

That could be true but we should automatically dismiss it either.

Yes we should. If there were any truth, do you really not think Disney wouldn't address it, especially with the legal liability? How about we pull the post since it has zero facts and was pulled from a Facebook post. Your the Moderate, Moderate and pull this crap.
Lol. Like you said it’s a rumor, this is the rumors board. T-Rex and Disney didn’t comment on the situation when asked by BlogMickey. There could be an ongoing investigation for it.

T-Rex is not Disney owned either.

We should not assume it’s fact but it also doesn’t need to be pulled either.

The fact is, this is American business culture and if it did or didn't happen at T-Rex, I'm sure it's happening other places. Americans go to work when sick to prove we are tough and good employees, without regard to the people around us.

This is why I personally will not do business with any company that doesn't mandate mask wearing for their employees.

id like to know the truth. We have one side of the story. I’d like to hear the other side. If they dint want to tell their side that says something too.

Do you work for Landry's? Rumors are rumors. I hope in the end it's not true tho.

Who knows? We've had other restaurants and bars in the county close because either a worker or employee tested positive. I still find it strange that several stores on DS were abruptly closed
That was due to employees calling in sick, they then moved the other employees to other locations. Goofys candy shop and the art of Disney reopened earlier this week.

Well, makes me not want to eat at a Landry's restaurant at WDW. We wanted to book Yak & Yeti, but I think we will do Tiffins instead, if we can get an ADR.

Yes that is odd the multiple employees would call in sick

Maybe those employees were being cautious, thinking they had Covid symptoms but tested negative. I would much prefer people to be overly cautious.

its because employers in the US pretty much force workers to work sick. They penalize workers who are truly sick and hate to give PTO.

It’s always possible that Disney doesn’t know if it’s true and is trying to find out before they issue a statement. As for the restaurant, i certainly think less of Landry’s. Either they let this happen (which would put people at risk), or they’re letting people worry unnecessarily because they don’t want to comment on a rumor.
