Is T-Rex included on the dining plan. According to the site T-Rex is not listed. What about McDs in DTD? :confused3

Because they are privately owned? I think I understand now. I'm a little Disney clueless about these things. Sorry.

Also found out that we have to pay for 7 nights of DDP instead of the 6 DAYS we are going to be there. I mean really, we check in 10:30pm (approx) on the 7th and we check out 6am on the 14th. Although they said that we can use the extra days credit any of the other days, but we will not be eating that much food! Silly.

T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe are owned by Landry's corp and neither are part of the DDP. As for your extra credit, you can book any one of the many Signature Dining/2 TS restaurants, including Cinderella's Royal Table, and "use up" that credit.

Ya I had thought about that. But there ADRs are filled everywhere and I highly doubt I will get into one if I keep trying. We leave in 4 days. I'm not going to bother this time. Maybe now with the wonderful help from you DISers I am now more knowledgeable about Disney and know what to do next time. Two years is going to be a long wait. :(

Once you are there, give a quick call each evening and you might find something opens up. If all else fails go to the venue at opening time and you might be able to get in without an ADR.

Just call WDW dining when you get there and see if they have a breakfast opening for one of the resort breakfasts - that would use up the other credit.

They are privately owned and choose not to participate in the dining plan. Some non-Disney restaurants have chosen to participate.

T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe participate in the premium and platinum plans but not any of the lower-priced options.

The Dining plans are always priced and allocated per night of your stay, not per day. To use up your TS credits, plan a signature restaurant or a dinner show (these cost 2 credits per person)

I have the opposite problem in that we check in early in the AM and check out late in the evening so I have too few credits. Oh well!

I agree with the comment about using a credit for breakfast. It is nice to sit down for a nice warm breakfast and relax. We actually had a server try to talk us out of using TS credits for breakfast on our last trip. Does it get you the most bang for your buck-no. But it is nice to not have to worry about getting to your ADR later in the day. With little ones you never know how the day will go.

Probably too late to do it now, but book your last night outside of the package - IE 6 nights on the package with DDP, then one night room only...then you don't pay for the extra night of the DDP. Might not be any good depending on your package (if you are doing the 4 & 3 for instance).

Otherwise, as someone else said, just have breakfast & dinner one of the days or try a 2 TS credit restaurant or show (Spirit of Aloha or Hoop De Doo Review).
