It's like the Rainforest Cafe. I think it might be overpriced, but for the atmosphere...if your kids like dinos, then it might be worth it.

It is very overpriced. A friend and I went, ordered 1 dinner salad, 1 order of fish tacos, and two sodas, and paid $50 including the tip.

I thought my salad was tasty, though no different than something you'd get at any chain place like Ruby Tuesday's or Applebees. My friend thought the fish tacos weren't good at all. He did like the rice that came with it.

Think of it as chain restaurant food, but with a hefty surcharge for the location and theming. That's really what you're paying for, the experience.

The rotisserie chicken is a good bet. The food isn't extraordinary, but it's better than at Rainforest Cafe. I have a review on my site.

IMO you go to any of the Landry's restaurants for the atomosphere or the gift shop, not the food or cheap prices. Out of all their chains Joe's Crab Shack is the best. That said we try and go to RFC at least once a year and have visted some in different states. T-Rex is much more limited by the looks of the menu.

We always go with a gift card, I get them from my points. It cuts the cost in about half for us so I can suck it up for the kids. I won't pay retail, the food isn't worth it, I don't care how cool it is in there!

I was there in early Dec with my husband, DD5, DS2, my brother, sister-n-law and my 2 nieces 5 and 2. The food, I thought was good along with the other adults in the party. My brother who complains about ALL food enjoyed his meal very much. The place is very loud. My son was not to thrilled with the noise. I did not think the price of the meals were all that bad. I guess I just expect high prices when I am on vacation. And I saw someone mention that T-Rex did not except the dinning plan............I was told the except the delux plan. Not sure if it is true but thats what I was told when we put our name in.

The food is mediocre. Not worth the price in my opinion, though you are more paying for the experience.
