T-REX build a dino questions

Has anyone done the build a dino yet? What are the prices like? DS is looking forward to this. Especially since we were just at build a bear. I am just wondering how much to budget for this.

Most of the dinos were in the $16 - $20 range for just the stuffed animal. Where the costs start to add up is if you get an outfit or accessories. If I were trying to budget for it I would go with $40 unless you know your child won't be adding anything on.

We didn't do it when we were there yesterday, but you can't imagine how many little boys we saw walking around with their dino in a box with the little arms hanging out the sides!! They were so cute!!!!

Having lunch at T-Rex is going to be the last thing we do before driving home. He loves his build a bear bears so I figure he will like this too. I wish Disney would come up with a build a disney friend type thing. That would be so much fun.

The prices run the same as a regular Build a Bear Workshop. My DD got her dino, an outfit and shoes for around $40.00.

We built a T Rex dino with "roar" sound for $18 for our grandson. We did not purchase any clothes or assessories - so it can be done fairly inexpensively!

DD built "sue", had a sound chip put in, the shoes, clothes, handbag, sunglasses it came to $52. I wouldnt have spent that much but I had the mypoints Rainforest Cafe gifts cards that they let me use to pay for it, otherwise DD was going to have to buy anything beyond the dino herself.

I have to say she is cute and DD sleeps with her, but $52?!?!? It was her one thing she picked out during the trip.
