T Rex at Downtown Disney

We ate a t T rex at downtown Disney and I can tell you I have never had a burger as big in my life. I would highly recommend it especially for familys.

Every half an hour or so the place errupts in colour and the Dinasaurs come to life.

It's not to badly priced and my kid's had there favourite meal of our trip there.

When I ate there a couple of years ago, I got the chicken-fried steak. I think it was the size of a man-hole cover! It's a fun place for the kids. However, for anyone contemplating going there...just know it's extremely noisy.

I agree, it certainly isn't a place to go for some piece and quiet lol.

I just made reservations for our last day, a Saturday night. I was up at 5am central to make BoG res and so I did all the restaurants at that time. Since this was 180+8 I was surprised there were no normal times left! I didn't know this restaurant was so popular. I ended up with an 8 pm dinner res, which isn't the worst but I would like to change it to be earlier if at all possible. My boys love dinosaurs and I have never heard them complain about a restaurant being too loud, so I think it will be great.

Call them directly and you should be able to get a better time. They only set aside so many reservations for the Disney dining reservations. Their number is (407) 828-8739. Hope that helps!

Priority seating without reservations if you are a member of their dining club.

i'm going to repeat what has been said several times already......its loud in there! if you have children that don't like lots of noise this is not the place to take them.

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't like T-Rex at all. Neither did my husband or daughter. I had a pasta dish, husband had ribs and daughter had pizza. Pizza looked liked one of those frozen ones you could buy at the grocery store. My pasta was supposed to have shrimp in it, I think I counted three or four. Husband thought the ribs were just ok, sure the portion was huge but I's rather eat something that tastes better. To say it's noisy is an understatement. I could barely hear a word my husband said sitting right across from me. I know it's a theme restaurant but I got tired quickly of the animal noises. No, I'm not grumpy and not particulary picky when it comes to food. I just didn't care for it.
