T-Rex and 19 month old

I have a 10 and 7 yr old as well as a 19 month old. My older two girls would LOVE the T-Rex cafe but Im not sure how the 19 month old will do. Anyone have any experience with little-er ones? I dont wanna get in there and have her flip out becasue she is scared

No experience with a little one there, but how is she with loud noises? Has she ever been in the Rainforest Cafe? It's about 10x as loud as that .

No we have never been to Rainforest. I guess she is ok with noise, she's never been around anything REALLY loud maybe just the lawn mower and vaccume.

My son was about 2 1/2 when we took him to the T-Rex in our town (only other one in the country, I think!!). He was doing good walking up to it, then when we get inside, the large animatronic dinosaur they have in the entryway dipped his head and ROARED at my son. It was all over. My husband could barely hang on to him from there and we made a beeline out of there as fast as we could. We wound up at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Much more calm.

From what we could see on that one brief visit, it was LOUD. The music was loud, the jungle sounds were LOUD. And that was the beginning of our son hating loud sounds. A year later, he's better but it was too much for us. It will be a long time before we take DS back. Like, maybe when he's 7.

dont sit in the ice cave. they might be able to sit you in the aquarium area. The ice cave is very loud and the lights change colors as the volcano blows and after a few times you end up with a headache. very loud in that area also.

We ate here on our last trip, with a 3 and 5 y/o. They were just fine. I don't think the restaurant was very loud at all.
The lights dimmed and the sounds would pick up every now and then. It was all in good fun though and none of the small children sitting around us seemed upset in the least.
Young children always take their cues from the adults around them. So if you act like he should be afraid- he will be. If you act as if all is well and normal, then he should have a good time.
