This info could possibly have been posted already, but just in case...
Just got off the phone with a CM and Disney won't be doing the ADRs for this location at all. It will be a walk up location ONLY unless a very large party, then you have to call the T-Rex directly.

Just the opposite of what a CM assured me on Sunday. She told me they were going to accept ADRs ... just not yet. I pointed out that the DTD RFC didn't but she stuck to her guns. Those wacky CMs. ;)

I wouldn't expect ADR's to be taken, since the Rainforest Cafe at DD doesn't take them (and it's the same company that owns them).

Denise is correct - Rainforest at DTD doesn't take ADRs but they will take reservations if they are called directly.

Rainforest at AK takes ADRs.

I have seen reports that T-Rex will operate similarly to the DTD RFC but it is not going to be taking reservations until sometime next year (and not through Disney) - walkups only in 2008. This thread is the first I've seen any reference to calling T-Rex for group reservations.

There have been posters reporting their contact with T-Rex which stated it will not be on the DDP but will accept the premium and platinum plans (same as Rainforest Cafe). None of the Landry's restaurants accept DDE so this one probably won't either.

The reported opening date is October 14.

I wonder where that CM got that info as most of us have no clue if we will be booking it or not!! It will be interesting to find out!!

You used to be able to call Rainforest (at DTD) directly and book a reservation. This was 2 years ago though.

You can still make a reservation by calling rainforest directly just not through WDWDINE

I just came back from WDW on 9/3. I took some pictures of the outside of the T-Rex restaurant. It looks really neat. I know the kids will love it. I will post them this weekend. :dance3:

I did speak to one (1) CM who told me they are still not sure if they will be doing to ressie's or not. She also said, they will only be taking walkups at this point when it opens. This is consistent with what I was told about three (3) weeks ago when I called. Apparently, the contracts are still not complete. On the same day (9/2), another CM told me they will doing the ressies. He said it is still scheduled to open on October 14. It will be interesting to see what happens with the ressies. I will already be at WDW on the 14th, and I am going to try to get in.:woohoo:
