"System Experiencing High Volume?"

I was so excited to be able to make first ressie today, am gutted about this, hope my other ones arn't going to be so frustrating!

I have been making ADRs at this time all week and this is the first time I have experienced this. I know it's Thanksgiving, so I'm not surprised,I just wasn't expecting it. I have to get to work early today so I can't sit on hold on the phone. If I don't get something by 6:15 CST, I'm throwing in the towel
 
I got the same message, just for Thanksgiving day. I was able to book the rest of my trip with no problem. I was also able to get everything I wanted (granted I didn't want anything too "hard to get"). Keep trying, I'm going to the phone now to try for turkey day.

Ok when you get on the dining reservation area make sure to enter in your hotel reservation number this will be an option on what ever resteraunt page you choose after the sign for the resteraunt. once you enter in your reservation number you will have your 90 + 10

Also for those of you experiencing the high traffic message try booking other reservations some resteraunts are so popular it jams the system. I just booked all mine on wednesday and got the same message when trying to get le cellier crt and anything for thanksgiving day.

for thanksgiving day you will have to call and see what is open still. the phones are not so bad they open in 6 minutes if you get in early no issues and dont let it scare you when it says 30 minutes thats the morning message every day lol i was on in 5 minutes or less. Good Luck!!

You're right, I just put in the day before and got right through. So it's just Thanksgiving Day. Maybe I'll go ahead and book WCC for that Wednesday and just pretend like that's Thanksgiving, LOL.

I logged on at 6 am and got everything I needed - checking in on Thanksgiving day, too...:confused3

I'm hoping for Chef Mickey's on Thanksgiving as well... Been up trying since before 5:00 and on hold right now.
 
I gave up on the computer and got on and off the phone in 12 minutes, my second choice (after Liberty Tree:rotfl:), Cape May Cafe!:banana:

There was availability at other places too, just get on the phone!
 
Sitting on hold right now, online system still not working for me and won't let me book beyond one day with a 10 day reservation...grrrr

I guess a lot of you are on hold with me right now which explains the 30 minute hold.
 
Most Thanksgiving day reservations cannot be made online you have to call in for them. This has been happening since the TG day option opened to people arriving earlier than TG day and staying past that day.

It has been mentioned on these boards quite a bit. Hope you all were able to book what you wanted
 
Rats! I wanted a Fantasmic Pkg for TG...been on hold since 7 am, got through at 7:20 and the pkgs are all gone...And...the stupid on-line system is still down. I think I'm going off-site for TG now!
 
How many times have you heard the train song now on hold?? It is up to 4 for me now :upsidedow
