Syracuse & Parking

Hello!

We may be flying out of Syracuse, NY, and I was curious about parking options?

Is it best to park at the airport? Or are there any good hotel/parking deals?

Parking in the covered garage costs $8 a day; I think the outdoor lot is $6 a day. I always park in the garage. There is a hotel near the airport, but it's not within walking distance and I don't know what their parking policy is like. HTH!

Because we are always gone for 17 days we always stay the night before at the Quality Inn on Buckley Rd. The parking rate is included in whatever rate you get, and there is never a maximum leave for your vehicle. They also offer a free airport shuttle which you book as soon as u arrive at the hotel. Not a superior hotel, but a standard one that saves us a ton of money on parking. Then when we return we call the hotel for a pick up and they drop us off right in front of our vehicle.

Any updates on this? Going south and leaving car for about 2 1/2 weeks. Would like a hotel which offers free parking. Is there a Holiday Inn or Best Western? DH has points for those.

There is a Best Western on Syracuse airport property - there's a courtesy airport shuttle bus available from 4:15am to 12:30am. I'm pretty sure there's a fly and drive option but I think you need to reserve your room directly with the hotel to take advantage of that.

We've stayed there twice - rooms were small, but clean & convenient. Here's some contact info:
