Syracuse area ?

Has anyone ever been to the big craft fair held at the fair grounds? If so how is it and are there any other good country craft stores in the area?

I haven't been in a couple years, but they are usually really good!!! It can be a little claustrophobic depending on the building they put it in.

As for shops, Goose and Gander is one of my favorites. They are located in Marketplace Mall which is just north of Syracuse right off 481 and in DeWitt:

My MIL and SIL go every year. They love it. A couple of years ago my MIL got me a great tote bag from there.

We go once or twice a year, but I have thought that it hasn't been as good recently. It is always the same stuff and the last one we went to, it just didn't seem to have as many vendors at all.

Thanks for the replies. It would be a 5 hour drive for us so I just wanted to hear some opinions.
