I haven't been on in awhile, so please forgive if this has been asked before.. Is fastpass available for Symphony in the Stars at the Studios?

Not available. There is a special dessert package you can buy for reserved viewing. But personally, I think it's better viewed from further away.

What time is Symphony in the Stars? We haven't been since this was added. We will be there in March.

It may vary based on when the park closes. But when we were there a few weeks ago, it was at 8pm every night.

Check the start time for Fantasmic. The fireworks are scheduled to begin one hour later (30 minutes after Fantasmic ends).

Currently, it is only scheduled through March 19. I've been checking daily to see if they have extended it; we'll be there in late March. . .Fingers crossed!

Our trip is March 9th so we should be able to see it. Thanks, that helps knowing it is usually an hour after Fantasmic. :)

I'm not sure how different it is from Frozen, as I've not seen those, but the Star Wars ones are by far the best fireworks display I've seen, ever...anywhere.

I am not seeing it scheduled past February on the WDW MDE site. It will not let me add it to my plans. Where do you see it for March??

you can see the times by the dessert party they are selling, it's until March 19th

where would be a good spot to stand to view it?

(where's an awesome Robo map? :rolleyes1)

How different is it from the Frozen fireworks?

They're shot from the same place, but I think that's where the similarities end. Different effects, different music, no snow for Star Wars.

Robo does have a really good map for it, so maybe he'll chime in. But, having just seen them Monday night, around Echo Lake (sitting on the edge of the flower bed areas) is just as good as any place. It won't get too crowded until about 30 minutes before. As long as you have a fairly clear view of the Theater, you'll see them fine. They're kind of "meant" to be seen from the main strip, but really, Echo Lake is just as good in my opinion.
