This was under construction when we were at IoA in Oct/99. I was in the bookstore yesterday and flipped through the 2001 Unofficial Guide. It said it was still not operational at press time.

The ride seems to be delayed indefinitely. Rumors abond saying that it will be torn down, but nothing official yet.

Boy, I would think tearing it down would be more trouble than its worth ... especially since it's not really in the way and they probably couldn't really put another ride in its place ....

I would guess they'll keep the track up with the three cars that run around it now and that's about it. The area where the lines are and the boarding/deboarding wouldn't seem all that useful for putting another ride in ...

Anyway, to get back to the original question, it doesn't look like it will ever be opened at this points from what I've heard here
