less than 3 weeks, so will have heaps of info re Hawaii for the meet in march...

looking at the area, they have everything within a 3 min drive from Aulani....
dennys, maccas, chillis, target, costco, wendys, taco bell, panda express, genki sushi, zippys, safeway, KOA pancake house, burger king,Outback, subway , starbucks ,etc.....wet and wild.....a 16 cinema complex...safeway is open 24 hrs BTW.

so I have told DH after check in we are going straight to dennys for the $2 stack of pancakes.....let the food porn begin

How exciting DH and DD2&3 went to Wet and Wild. They took a tour bus. I had considered doing a drive to Aulani but in the end we only had a car for one day and that was the day we drove to the North Shore.

I noticed you haven't been around Aussiegirls . Glad you can come, I think from memory that our girls are about the same ages. 8 and 12 years. My girls will there as well. Maybe we should book a kids table next to the adults table that way we can all talk

No problem re the organising, it has really been a group effort!
I can certainly make enquiries re the kids table! I was actually thinking the same thing!!! The kids might think it is very grown up if they have their own table!!!

OK just had a look at city rail - mountains trains to the city run every 30mins on Saturday - 11:07 Penrith, 11:22 - Blacktown, 11:30 Westmead, 11:34 Parramatta, 11;37 Granville, 11:48 Strathfield - 12:00 Central .

The train is a mountains train - I will be getting on at Penrith at 11.07 - it stops all stops from Mt Victoria.

If that is any easier for you.

I havent checked trackwork - everytime I want to get a train on a weekend there is bloody trackwork -

Yep, I will be on that train. Even though it is a mountains train I will still get on at Blacktown. If I catch it from home it will be an all stations from where I live so that means that we would be on the train for about 2 hrs or so......I hate that and the kids would be insane by the end

As for the theme, if nobody can come up with anything we could just do what we did last time and everyone wear something Disney. Most of us will have some sort of souvenier we could wear and those that don't can just get a Disney t-shirt or something from Kmart (I know they have them ) Anyway, just a suggestion.
