SWW EMH How do they work?

If you were able to go to the SWW EMH this weekend, how did it work? Did it help you to get there earlier for the SWW stuff? Were you able to get in line faster? What advantage is there to going if you are there just for SWW ... I leave in a few hours for my WDW vacation, and will be there for next weekends SWW and I will not have access to the internet Any help would be much appreciated thanks!!!
