Hi Ladies,

I know I've been asking tons of questions, hope no one minds.

I'm looking at the Just Marry packages and they look great, but they all either have one thing I don't want or one thing I need but is not in the package. So I know I can customize with the things I want, but its hard to figure out the pricing. Below are the items I really want to include in my package:

*Ceremony Site
*Single Musician (preferably a violin)
*Officiant (through Just Marry)
*Flowers - Bridal and MOH bouquet, 4 boutonnieres, 2 corsages (I love gerber daisies and plan on having that as my main flower, nothing ornate)
*Ceremony decor? Very unsure about this I think our ceremony will be in front of the swan fountain, but I hate the arch offered in the package - maybe a runner with flower petals? Or something to hang on the aisle chairs? Something simple and inexpensive.
*Cake - maybe from Its Tasty Too as I've heard great reviews...is that who Just Marry recommends?
Photography I will be getting an outside person.
Bridal Hair/Makeup for me and whoeever else in my group wants it but not sure if I will go through Just Marry or just go to a salon at one of the resorts.

Guest list is looking to be around 15, maybe even 10.

Thank you very much for your help!!!

Hi Shannon! We had all of the elements you want :goodvibes

Our wedding was all customized - we didn't use a package. We picked the elements we were interested in, let our planner book our vendors (except for hair/makeup/cake/photog), told them specifics (flowers, music, etc), and they got back to me on pricing - I would then go from there.

We had a violinist (don't remember his name), Greenery Production (booked by Just Marry!) did our ceremony decorations (arch) and floral.

Rev. Tim Herring (booked by Just Marry!) was our officiant, did Beaute Speciale (booked myself) for hair/makeup and had It's Tasty Too (booked by me) do our cake.

We brought our photog from home. I brought lanterns to hang on the chairs.

Let us know if you have any other questions or if we can help at all!

That is very helpful, thank you!!! :goodvibes

The lanterns you brought...who put them on the chairs? I'm sure I could find something simple to make or buy myself for chairs, but I will not be out there setting it up lol.

Hmmm, could I do my own flower petals as well? Thinking if I just buy a ton of flowers from wal-mart, it'd be cheaper than "designer" petals.

Strewn aisle decorations like petals need to be bio-degradable so that they don't harm the wildlife if they blow away. You can bring your own and Just Marry will put them out for you, but fresh or freeze-dried will be your best options.

Ouhh i'll be following the thread!
I agree with you on the arch but the four leggeg one i seen in pictures looks nice..

When r u having ur wedding?

Great post! Thanks!
If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your wedding? And how many guests?

I just wanted to recommend that you look into Swan catering as an option for your cake. We got our cake through Swan catering & it was really pretty and so delicious. I sent them a picture of what I wanted and they did a beautiful job giving me exactly what I was envisioning :) Pricing was reasonable as well.

For our VR we, like Faith, just booked the basic ceremony package, which I believe includes, ceremony site with chairs, services of the planner/co-ordinator, back up venue in case of bad weather, room to get ready in (subject to availability) and water station at the ceremony. We added some things to this through JM (eg, champagne, glasses, plates etc for the cake and staff to serve the champagne and cake), as we had a cake and champagne reception after our ceremony at the West Courtyard, before heading off to the GF for dinner. I also left limousine hire in the hands of our planner.
Everything else, I researched and booked myself. This included officiant (Tim Herring, musician (Christine McPhail - harpist), florist (Petals by Design Orlando), photographer (Randy Chapman) and cake (It's Tasty Too).
At the time, my planner was happy for us to book whatever we wanted to ourselves, but equally happy to offer advice etc when I wanted or needed it. Perfect for what I wanted, as I enjoyed having a certain amount of control.
It worked out beautifully for us xx
