Planning our next trip for next June and was wondering about after staying at POR for 4 or 5 nights and then switching to BC or Poly for 2 or 3 nights just for a little extra.

Here's my questions...

Is it really that easy?

Will they move everything for us if I have it packed up and ready?

Does it get put in to a room or at the bell station?

Do I have to go by and meet our stuff coming over & check in then?

Would be have pool access the day of the move even if our stuff isn't over there yet?

How long does it take them to transfer your stuff, if they do it?

Anything I should know about switching resorts to help make it a smooth and easy experience?

Thanks, YO

We are doing the same thing in December. POR to Poly.

They will move your stuff for you, just make arrangements 24 hours in advance.

You don't have to be present. They will hold it in bell services until you check in and your room is ready.

You actually have pool access at either resort since you are checking out of one and into another. When you check out, you still have pool access until midnight (for people with late flights) and if you check in and your room isn't ready you have pool access at the other resort.

It really is that easy! They usually have your stuff there in an hour or so from what I have been told. They are usually really good with transferring luggage.

The switch itself is not hard. Disney will handle it for you. BUT for just 2 or 3 days you must consider if it is truely worth the hassel. You have to pack and unpack. Check in and out, out of room by 11 and maybe no room till 3pm? Plus what ruins it for me, is I keep thinking in 3 days we get to be at the BC, Poly, or now 2 days tills BC, now 1 day till move.... Seems like your always waiting to move? At least for us? Instead of totally relaxing and enjoying the resort that we are at, at the time. I know I do it, and try not to do, but still do it? :confused3 And then in the event that the 2nd resort is not all that, you think we should of saved the money, and stayed put? Saved the time, hassel, & things tend to go south quickly, with any kind of problem that could arrise. Problem with room, poor location, didn't get any request, rude people, not what you expected, dreamed of? :earseek: ON the other hand: if you plan to just hang out and use the pool more, or boats not offered at the 1st resort, and relax, enjoy the surroundings, etc.. . it can be wonderful. BC is great, you could easily stay there and never go in the parks. pirate: :maleficen

Good luck, have a great trip in whatever you decide, Mky princess:
