Anyone have a Disney trip booked and then decide to cancel and go somewhere else entirely? I have a 3 night trip booked for Food & Wine in October, just DH and I for my birthday weekend. I've been wanting to go all year, and have the flights and hotel booked (no park tickets yet), but now I'm thinking about scrapping it all and going to Charleston SC for 4 nights. I can cancel the flights and rebook - cost is almost the same, I would have to book 4 nights vs. 3 but using points so not a huge deal. It's just a totally different trip and I'm not sure where this is coming from lol, indecision is my middle name! I've been to Charleston once on a day trip over 10 years ago, but DH has never been there. I think he'd enjoy the military history as well having served in the Navy. I guess all I'm looking for is commiseration while I sort out my plans.

I change my mind all the time when it comes to vacation. I can’t plan anything more than a couple months out if I do I’ll change me mind.

We were supposed to go in April for flower and garden and canceled to go to an all inclusive in the Dominican Republic. Had a great time in DR and spent half as much as Disney so we booked a fall cruise and the 2 trips are less than our Disney trip would have cost.

Go to Charleston. I think I like the idea of a Disney trip more than I would like the actual Disney trip anymore. Charleston is great, wonderful food, relaxed sightseeing, plenty to do but not enough to be overwhelming.

I think this is exactly what I’m struggling with! Like do I want to stand in a hot line to get small plates from the different booths, or sit down for legitimate good food! DH is NOT good with lines and waiting so that always causes tension too.
