I know the hotel will transfer your bags from one Disney resort to another if you split your stay. Will they do the same when going to/coming from SOG? I was told yes by a CM but wanted to see if anyone has ever done this.

I asked that same question and was told no they are not allowed to travel on the property there. I had asked due to the use of magical express and was told that wasn't option as well, even if I arrived at a disney resort I could not be picked up at SOG for my departure.

I was told yes by a disney reservations CM, then called SOG and talked to 2 people who didn't know and one who said no. I guess we'll just hope for the best and lug everything over on the bus if we have to.

The problem with that is, that you have to show some kind of voucher ME gives you when you go to/from the airport.

we're staying at POR the first and last nights so I don't have to worry about the airport bus. I'm trying to get from POR to SOG, then back to POR, without having to get a taxi. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The way I understand it, if staying onsite they will transfer your luggage for you so you would only have to take any bus to any park and take the POR bus. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the transfer of the luggage. Good luck and have a great trip.

I was told that SOG is not considered the same as other Disney resorts. They will only transfer your luggage between Disney resorts. Was told this by SOG and CRO.
