I'm thinking about 3 nights @ all star sports and then Gf, club royal for 5 nights and finishing with 2 nights @ port orleans, riverside.

Is this too much moving around?

We have AP's for the 4 theme parks
I will need to buy tickets for the water parks
Would love to try discovery cove / sea world.

Does this look like too much?

I'm not one to resort hop but .. I thinking you should do the 3 nights All star then the 2 nights por then the Gf for 5 nights I don't know if I could go from a Dlx to a mod and be happy. My thought would be save the best for last. Anyway have a great trip.

I think it's too much. You're "homeless" for part of the day when you switch resorts -- I wouldn't do that twice. I also wouldn't go to moderate after doing GF. If I were you, I would ditch All Stars and split between POR and GF, choosing the number of days (5/5 or 6/4) by what you can afford. Make sure to do the better resort second.

We love resort hopping and switching resorts! I really don't care about going from one "level" of resort to another, since I know what to expect at each.

Disney makes it easy by moving your luggage for you. If you don't mind that "homeless" feeling, it can be a lot of fun. Each resort seems like a whole new vacation!

IMO I would can the All Star Music all together and just do 5 nights at the GF and 5 at Port Orleans Riverside. You are doing a value, a moderate and then a deluxe and you will find there is a difference...........The GF and Port Orleans are close to the MK and in my opinion the All Star resorts are far removed and again just my opinion they seem a lot noiser.

Having stayed at all 3 levels, I can honestly say that the mod and dlx have been at times as loud as the value resorts. Yes, I know it has to do with who is next door to you. Having split my last trip between POR and WL, the WL was louder. Just the luck of the draw, my neighbors did not know how to shut a drawer or closet door without slamming it. We will try POP this next trip to see how they fair. I would definately save the deluxe for last!

we are thinking about doing 2 nights at the Contemp and then 2 nights at WL.... we've been to WL before and want to save it for last, in case we don't love the CR as much. Re: the homeless feeling....check-in is at 3, right? I think my kids would be able to make it in a park til then and then take a late break at the hotel. There's gotta be some places to "chill" in the hotels if the room is not ready yet, right? What is the earliest that anyone has had a room ready? Thanks!!!! :D

thanks for all the good tips. I thought the kids would be into the all star sports ds 9 and dd 5.

The PO, RS looked cool to me. The pool looks like it would be lots of fun.

I thought we should try the GF. This will be our last trip to disney for a few years at least.

I'm having trouble getting over the Poly. We stayed there in May. We had such a great vacation that I wanted to return again before our AP's expire. Every time I think I have a plan I seem to change my mind about the resort. I start thinking about the poly again.

On the other hand I feel like we should try something new. I guess that it would not break my heart to XXX the all stars.

Thanks again
Laurie
