With the re-opening of Port Orleans, we want to try to switch our resort for our November stay. Is it easiest to just book a whole new package and then cancel the original one? (I’d rather do everything online.) If the first is booked as a package, we also cancel those tickets when we cancel the package, right? Since we’re adding tickets with the new package, we won’t lose park reservations, will we?
Thanks!

You booked yourself? You should be able to just modify your reservation, provided there is availability at the one you want to change to. Then you don't lose anything or have to pay a new deposit or anything like that.

Yes! Thanks! I’d prefer to switch mine to room only and buy the tickets separately since my adult daughter is now coming for only part of the time, but my son and daughter-in-law will just switch their package. I didn’t realize that was possible until I saw your post and looked on the computer. Fingers crossed for availability!

Honestly, as much as I would like to keep same reservation so you don't have to pay a deposit, i'm worried the room might be taken if you don't grab it asap. So I've been creating new reservations and canceling as I go. Y
