Switching Resorts - with current booking

Hi All,

I have a week booked at my home resort in March. We are thinking about going to Disneyland at the same time. We are also new DVC members. Newbies who are learning! Any advice is much appreciated.

Do I call the DVC number at the 7 month time or is there a way to book the new resort on-line? How do you juggle it? Do I book the new resort and not complete the transaction and then open a new window and cancel the current one?

This is IF the new resort has availability.

We've always found that the easiest, most seamless way to do this would be to call MS and make the swap that way. All of this obviously would be contingent on there being availability like you said.
