Switching Resorts after Discount Ends

My family and I booked a deluxe hotel and now I'm trying to save a little bit of money and would like to switch to a moderate. I booked under a discount which is no longer available. If I called to switch my reservation, would they still give the same discount (assuming there were still rooms blocked off for it, at the moderate we want - CB).

As long as what you want is available under the discount, you will be able to change. The discount will most likely be different as the discounts vary among resort categories, but they will be able to modify your reservation pending availability. Call and ask to speak to someone in guest services. CRO doesn't usually have the ability to check availability/modify a reservation that has an expired discount, but guest services can help. I'd have a couple of options in mind just in case your first choice isn't available. Good luck!
