How easy (or difficult) is it to switch? Do more people switch from late to early? Are our chances pretty good to be able to get the later seating once on board?
We cruise next month and had booked our ressies with the early seating...after talking and reading several posts, and remembering back to our first cruise and that we were slightly rushed getting ready, we switched to second seating. We booked with Dreams, so I just e-mailed them and it was taken care of! I would imagine it is easier to switch from early to late than late to early....I would call whoever you booked with or call DCL directly and ask for the switch now before you board.
They will welcome you with open arms if you need to switch from early to late! Everyone wants to go from late to early, mostly because they have kids. We like late seating, but a couple of cruises ago we were somehow switched to early. When we went to Wavebands to change, before the words "We want to change our seating time" have even left our mouths, they were saying, "No! No! Early seating is GONE!!" When we explained we wanted to give them another early seating time and go late, they were very happy to see us.
