Not sure if this is the right forum for my question. I have a week booked at the end of August at CBR. It’s a package that was free dining with tickets that got the 35% discount. I have all of my park passes and dining reservations.
The Swan is offering a teacher rate for $119 per night the week we are going.
What happens to tickets, park passes and dining reservations if I switch? Do I have to start all over?
Thanks!

Nothing if you do it correctly.

First you need to book the Swan and purchase tickets since your tickets are tied to you existing package.

Next you need to link your new tickets and your Swan reservation to your MDE account. Once this is done and you can see your new tickets and your Swan reservation active in MDE. Then and only then should you cancel your existing Package.

Your in-park ADRs will be fine as long as you have your new tickets added and verify that your Disney Park Pass choices match the correct day. Any other ADRs are fine as they are only tied to you and the Credit card you use to make your ADR reservations.

This is so important to ensure that you don't lose your park passes! Don't cancel anything until the new resort and tickets are 100% confirmed to be in your MDE account. Even then, you may want to wait 24 hours before canceling the package just to make sure nothing gets messed up.

We love the Swan / Dolphin resorts!

Don't forget to factor in the resort fees. We almost canceled our Pop reservation to book a room with the teacher discount at The Swan today, then saw the resort fee charge. When we added it all up, it only saved us about $40, which we would have had to now spend on a car rental or ride share instead of using the Magical Express. In the end, we just kept Pop.

But $119 / night is an excellent deal, and even better if your are Marriott rewards member. Being able to walk to Epcot and HS is also a huge bonus.

Does anyone know why no restaurants are available. Looking at the last week of October.

^^You can only book 60 days out (or 60 days + up to 10 more if staying at a resort). So no restaurants past end of September are going to be available.
