Switching from 7-day day waitlist to 31-day

Tried to find an answer to this question, but wasn't able to. I have a waitlist that I made at the 7-month mark, I thought I had made it to expire at 7-days, but unfortunately it is 31-days. Since I have a back up res, I would like it to expire as late as possible. Question is: If I modify the waitlist from 31 to 7 days, will it affect my place in the waitlist line?

As long as you use the option in the waitlist manager, no.

Along the sames lines, if a 7-day waitlist is fulfilled does it end up replacing the original so no points go into holding? I'm *assuming* so.

You can specify to replace with the points used for the new reservation. Also, if the new reservation is less points, your 'saved' points, if switched with-in the 30 day window will become holding status.
