We are considering switching our cruise from a 5 night Key West in August to a 7 night western in October. We booked with the half off deposit offer. If we decide to switch, what deposit would we owe?

Would we owe the entire deposit-what we paid (1000-400), would we owe a deposit based on a half off amount (500-400), or could we simply switch based on the amount we have already paid (400)?

TIA

You definitely won't get to stick with the amount you've already paid - it will either be 1/2 of the seven night deposit or the full seven night deposit. I'm not sure if date changes keep the 1/2 deposit perk or not, but I don't think so.

You will definitely owe something more, they question is how much. Normal deposit on a 7 day is $250 PP, or $125 on the 1/2 off. So, at the very least yu would owe an additional $25 per person.

When I moved from a 1/2 deposit to a different date, I was required to pay the full "additional" deposit at that time. In my case, this was $400. I can't say whether this was policy, or just what happened to me.

Thanks. I really did expect to have to pay more. I just wanted to be prepared if I decide to change.
