Hoping someone can help!

I’ve almost fully paid off our Oct 2020 Canada cruise. However, I’m noticing that the transatlatic from Dover includes these stops. My husband and I are toying with switching to the transatlantic sailing or picking a different sailing with our eyes on a transatlantic later to get Canada. If we switched, does anyone know if Disney can just take the paid amount and transfer it to the new cruise? I’ve paid with a variety of payment methods (CCs that has rewards, some discount GCs) so it’d be a real PITA to get those all refunded and reapply the payments.

Hope that makes sense!

I haven't moved a cruise that was all paid for, but I have moved my current placeholder twice, and in both cases the money was moved with it (so it didn't affect the cards I used to pay for it). I would think it would the same, but I'm not sure. I moved from a 4nt Mexico to a 10 night Europe, so the prices weren't at all the same, but the deposit funds did move when I moved the reservation. Hope this helps.

When I did it, I had to make a deposit on the new cruise(just like you normally do for a cruise). They then cancelled the old cruise and transferred the money from the old cruise to the new one. I also had mix payments of cc and gift cards. I was glad the amount was all made as one transfer. It would have been a pain had they put all the different payments back onto the cc and gcs.

Yes, you can switch cruises without having to do a refund. I've done it several times. You just have to do it before the paid in full date.

Two of the last three years the TA hasn't made the Canadian ports. If your goal is to see Canada I would think twice about switching. It's up you to though. I would just make sure you both have the tolerance for multiple sea days with the possibility of bad weather.
