Switched from AKL to WL!!

We decided to go ahead and switch from AKL to WL because we couldn't get the savannah view for our dates.

We're now booked at WL with bunk beds and a courtyard view. I'm very excited about this resort. This is our first time staying onsite.

Tell me what you love about WL.

I loved everything about this resort when I stayed there in January.

I loved being able to see the MK fireworks from my room at night (courtyard rooms don't have this, though.)
Watching the Electric Water Pageant.
The themeing...felt like you were really in Yellowstone.
Ducks and bunnies in the courtyard.
Flat screen TV's.
Extra firm mattresses (I wasn't sure if I liked them at first, but I slept better than ever here!)
Good onsite dining.
Quick boat to MK.
Buses were not SRO.

There is nothing you will not like about this resort. Have a great time.

We have stayed numerous times at WL and once at AKL. Had a Savannah view and to us it was not worth the money. Resort is too remote and dark. WL on the other hand, is fantastic. We enjoy the lobby, renting surrey bikes, EWP, boat to FW to Crocketts Tavern/Trails End, best buffets on property, boat to CR, biggest gameroom, great shopping and the boat to the MK can't be beat. Its location for the price. With all the resort lights at night it seems like you're right in the thick of things and its all a stones throw away. Good choice switching, you will not be sorry. You can always visit AKL, dine there and see the animals but returning to WL and the pool is heaven.
