Switch to IOA in the evening

We are going to Orlando in June, and I've already purchased park to park universal tickets. I am planning to go the US on Monday and IOA on Tuesday. If I wait until late evening on Monday and go over to IOA, is it possible I could knock out the Harry Potter stuff with thinned out crowds? I'm thinking if I could do that, I could then plan to do the other IOA stuff on Tuesday at Rope Drop and not have to compete with the early morning rush. I've read that WWOHP often thins out in the evening, but should I expect that to hold true in late June? Any advice would be much appreciated.

It's possible and not a bad idea really. It should be cooler in the evenings than the middle of the day and less waiting.

Great. I guess the worst case scenario would be that it doesn't work and we have to come back and go for it again in the morning. ;)

If it does not work, just do some other stuff in IOA, either way you win.:thumbsup2

That strategy worked really well for me. Most people seem to run to IOA first thing in the morning and US was almost empty during this time. We did US and then got lunch around 1pm. Afterward we headed to IOA and all the morning crowds were trickling out leaving WWoHP pretty quiet; not empty by any means but still less crowded.

Of course we also went in November when crowds were pretty small in the first place.
