Switch CS credits for Snacks?

I was just wondering if you could use your CS credits as snack credits, or not?

We will have a member of our party who is not a big eater and may only want one meal a day (TS) and possibly a snack. If that is the case, and we end up with a bunch of extra CS credits near the end of our trip, can we used those for snacks to have in the room or to bring home (if we have an overwhelming amount of them)? Or is it a situation where if you don't use your CS for an actual counter service meal, you just lose them all together?

Right now we are booked with the dining plan, but if it is use or lose on the CS credits, we may be better off paying OOP and dropping the dining plan.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Seems to me that they probably would give you one snack for a CS credit. Not the best value for the money spent but better that just letting them go completely to waste.

Can anyone confirm?

I asked to do this at Wilderness Lodge at their counter service area last week and they told me no. With this being said, you are allowed to get one dessert with a counter service, so we ended up getting four pizzas, four beverages, and four desserts mainly just to get the desserts. It seems kind of silly, but we were really wanting a dessert!

I have heard conflicting answers to this. I have also heard of people using their leftover CS credits at the end of their trip to get sandwiches, drinks, and dessert, to go, for the trip home. And, using their leftover snack credits for treats to take home, rather than losing their credits. That sounds like a good option to me!

I like the idea for taking sandwiches for the road I did take a couple of snacks with my snack credits..this trip will be different as I will only have 1 princess....I can't wait
