Does Disneyland have anything similar to the citrus and strawberry swirls that they have at Magic Kingdom? We are not Dole Whip fans.

I haven't been to the MK, but Dole Whips are it at DL, AFAIK. Besides the ice cream carts of course. They do have the catch a flav ice cream in DCA. It is vanilla ice cream with different flavors added to it.

Can you get dole whips without the pineapple flavor?

They have different flavors at MK in WDW, but at Disneyland they just have the pineapple flavor as previously mentioned (or you can go with the frozen lemonade/strawberry lemonade from the carts around the parks as previously mentioned, as well).

:goodvibes

California Adventures has a little ice cream store near Ariels Grotto that sells swirled ice cream. But it's different than the swirls at MK, but they are still good.

It's soft serve vanilla ice cream and you can get the following flavors swirled in:
Cotton Candy
Grape
Orange
Lemon
Butter Pecan
Bubblegum
Strawberry
Chocolate

I enjoy the butter pecan and the kids love the bubblegum.

Where are these at the MK - I have been a zillion times, and never seen them. . . do tell :)

The Strawberry Swirls are at the Enchanted Grove in Fantasyland & the Orange Swirls are at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland.

At MK, the strawberry swirls are at the Enchanted Grove near the teacups and the citrus swirls are at the Sunshine Tree Terrace by the Tiki Birds. The citrus swirls seemed a bit different the last time I had one, but still good. They are so yummy and I think more refreshing than the Dole Whips.

Being a Disney Ice Cream Affectionado I can tell you that Disneyland is extremely lacking in the ice cream department.

You can not get soft serve chocolate ice cream anywhere, yogurt yes, ice cream no, dole whips can not be swirled with ice cream, no strawberry swirls, and no citrus swirls, no giant homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches at the Main Street Bakery, no Yogurt coverd Minnie Bars. Catch a Flave at DCA was decent but didn't live up to the hype. The Main Street Ice Cream Parlor was just as good as in Florida. The frozen lemonade cart offered frozen lemonade with a flavor added option, cherry, vanilla, or raspberry. DD wanted cherry but they were out, so she opted for vanilla, big mistake, it was inedible. I opted for no flavor added and it was a good choice. Overall I found the ice cream options limited.
