Swimwear at the waterparks

I know they say not to wear bikinis, especially on some of the slides, but what about tankinis? I want to buy a new suit for my trip next month to replace the bikini that I have now, and I found a cute tankini with boyshorts that I want to wear. I figure it'll be hard for me to lose the tanktop on the slides, but what about the shorts?

I don't recall anyone losing shorts on the slides, I think it was the bikini top that has the tendency to come off. The shorts might help with the "wedgie" you get on some of the slides.
