So I bought this swimsuit:

Thinking it was perfect for the waterparks because it would stay in place and it was flattering (something so hard to find these days). So my question is, I just read that you can't have exposed metal on your swimsuit and this suit has a small metal ring as you can see in the picture. Now it is 3/4 covered by fabric and if I mess with it I can cover it even more than that. This summer will be my first foray into the waterparks and I do not want to show and not be able to ride anything. So is this swimsuit ok or do I need to subject myself to more swimsuit shopping? :scared1: TIA!

I think it should be fine - I love the suit! If you are concerned about it, you could maybe just use a needle and thread and whip-stitch the fabric together to cover the metal completely. Then, after Disney, you could carefully snip the thread and the metal would show again.

Maybe that will work. :thumbsup2

you should be fine. Just don't go down the slides on your stomache:rotfl:

Seriously I cannot see where this will be a problem at all. I think they are more in thinking of brads etc like on blue jeans.

I have also read threads where they say no metal on bathing suits at the water parks. I would not want to chance it.

I think that is an excellent idea, this way you won't have to worry about it.

Thanks for the input. I think I will just stitch it together. I was dreading going shopping again...fyi, I you like it, I got the suit at Target. :thumbsup2

Good Info.. Thanks for posting.. I have a bikini with metal rings on each side... Will leave that one at home:thumbsup2

Very Nice Suit. I think it should be fine. I have a suit similiar to this one though it has a buckle in the back instead of the front and has the mesh seethrough stuff around the back and sides. I wore this one in WDW. I was never said anything to about it.

Is a bikini ok to wear if you aren't planning on going on the straight down slides? I know it's ok policy-wise, but I wasn't sure practially. :confused3 Don't want to give any shows... it is WDW after all! ;)

I wore a tankini on one of the tube slide things at one of the water parks and I came down so fast into the pool of water and the back got winded up (and if I stood up everything would have been exposed) The bottoms also got rolled down on the back. I was fixng my suit and the guy yelled at me to get out...I was kinda angry, but he had no idea why I was just sitting there. I would be careful wearing any kind of two piece.

I personally think you will be fine.

I would guess they are talking about things on the seats or sides of suits that will scratch the sides of slides.

Men wiht a big rivet on a picket of suit or such.

Disney shopping has a great suit sale and I have found their suits are great for wonmen.
