Swimming

Hi, we're going to Sante fe for four days in June.
We haven't been before. Out little girl is 3 1/2 years old, she loves swimming.
I understand there is no pool at Santa Fe.
Is there way I can get my family into a swimming pool at leats once during our visit?

Can I pay to use the other pools on site?
How do they know who is eligible to use the pool etc,

or if not where is the nearest pool outside of the site?

PS - is there a bar near the santa fe so I can get a beer in the evening or do I need to go out of the site?

I'm afraid you can't use the pools at other hotels. When you are staying at an onsite hotel with a pool you have to show your resort ID to gain entrance.
I don't know of any public pools in the area.

Yes there is a bar at the Santa Fe, I think all the disney hotels have bars. The reason you can't use the pools in other hotels are for insurance reasons.

As other posters say pools are for guests of those hotels. If a pool is necessary as part of your stay might be worthwhile enquiring about an upgrade to Sequoia Lodge

we used the pool in the Hotel New York.. and no one asked us room number or anything.. so.. whilst i agree its for guests only,, i suppose there is a chance no one will ask.

one thing I will say.. is that the pool at HNY was not child friendly at all!.. it was 4ft or 5ft something all the way around and even I could not touch the bottom... my 6ft 4 husband could just touch the floor on tiptoes.. (so im guessing it must have been 5ft..)
