swimming on the day we leave

We had to change our flight to a late evening flight. If we stay at the hotel after check out, i know that they will hold our bags, but if we decide to swim in the pool that day, is there a place to shower and change before we leave for the airport?

I guess it depends on where you're staying.

I've stayed at Poly, CSR, and SSR, and I know of no full-on locker room facilities there.

There are showers in the restrooms by the main pools at the moderate resorts (even CSR). I never checked at WL, Poly or Pop -- the other resorts at which we've stayed -- but I have to believe they have shower facilities in the pool restroom areas, too.

We've done the swimming after check-out thing several times at the moderates. We also have done a water park on our last afternoon. Make sure everyone has a good ziplock bag to put their wet suits in for the trip home. That helps keep the rest of the carry on stuff dry.

I know there are lockers and showers in the restroom by the pool at Pop.

At both GF and YC they had facilities. GF has a changing/shower room by the themed pool, YC lets you use the health club facilities. We always take a late flight so we come back and swim before we leave.

I thought all the resorts had a place to change in by the pool. I know POR does and I'm pretty sure Poly does as well. We're staying there in 10 days & I remember reading something about lockers and a place to change near the slide area.

I was thinking there was nothing at the Poly, until I read this post. I think you're right. There seemed to be some sort of restroom/locker area under the slide, maybe, or very near it. I remember having to use it once when I was in there, and it was very handy.

But I don't recall if it had showers.

We're staying there, too, in about 2.5 weeks!

I've stayed there twice now, and we were at WCC for lunch a few months ago, and I never have once looked around to see if facilities like this are available.

I do know that inside the lobby, next to WCC, there are some fairly large restrooms, but I doubt they have showers.

Also, I believe there are some restrooms near the laundry room, closer to the pool, but likewise I don't know if there are showers in there.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember there being restrooms right at the pool at WL like there are at the Poly. It seems like the only location that might possibly have restrooms would be at the back of the pool bar, but it's hard to imagine fitting a shower in there.

I'll be sure to look when we're there in a few weeks.

There are rest rooms near the entrance to the work-out area at WL, and I bet you can shower in their fitness room.

There are dressing/bathroom/showers located @ Wilderness Lodge. These restrooms are located on the southside of the lodge outside near the 1st floor elevator that is halfway down the wing.

There are additional restrooms/showers near the Hidden Springs Pool @ the Villas.
