How's the weather at Disney for swimming the week before Thanksgiving? Planning for next year....

We just went that week this year. It was great. The weather was between 78-81. We were able to go swimming and walking around the parks was perfect. The crowds were low. It was really a great week, we are probably going to go same time next year

I was there last December and January, and we were able to go swimming. I think you'd be fine going in November.

As you are from MA, WDW will be warm by comparrison so swimming should be fine. Also, the pools are heated.

We just went that time this year and have also gone that week in the past. The weather is perfect! Low 80's high 70's. We spent 3 days out of our vacation just hanging at the pool. The pools are heated. We have always been able to swim in Nov. It is our favorite time to go, low crowds, great weather and X-mas decorations!

It really depends. We've been in November and didn't see the sun for 4 days. It was too cold to swim.

We enjoyed Disney that week before Thanksgiving and we were wondering about being able to swim especially when we got to Atlanta (drove from Michigan) and it was still cold (40's). Amazingly, the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS in orlando. The first couple of nights were cool at the pool but I think a cold front had come in. The CM lifeguards were shivering in their sweats and jackets, but they were used to the hot weather of the summer. Plus, being nighttime everythng is a little cooler anyway. The pool was warm though and 4 yr old son HADDDD to swim. The next 6 days the weather was awsome (low 70's to high 80's) We noticed that the temperature of the POFQ pool was the warmest of the 3 that we swam in. The POR (ol man island) was the coldest (DS could only stay in for about 15 minutes) and the POP was in the middle. We didn't swim at the Floridian, but waded and the temp seemed about midrange as well.

BTW, son's favorite pool was the POFQ. The pool is an excellent size and offers a fun serpent waterslide that is tame enough for wee ones. Our son has not yet learned to swim, but they have AWESOME life vests there that are very boyant. It took him about a minute to go from clinging onto me to going down the slide 8 gaziliion times all by himself (with us, of course waiting to "catch" him at the bottom). Children in their 2's were enjoying the slide. I STRONGLY suggest using these free vests. They are soft and comfortable and allow you, the parent, to enjoy the pool too without that crick in your neck.

This week before thanksgiving was the PERFECT time to go. Have a ball planning your vacation!
