we are tentatively thinking about a trip in nov 09, is it generally warm enough for us brits to got to the water parks? Gill

Novemeber is a great time to go, its my favourite time. The weather is cool early in the morning and late at night but the days are hot. You may get the odd cooler day but otherwise it will easily be warm enough to swim, it will feel hot and you still get sunburnt in November.

Well i was swimming at 9pm christmas day night in dec 05 at WL, it was alittle chilly, but i coped!

We went in December (8th-23rd), some days were perhaps too chilli to go to a waterpark for the day-but most were OK. We swam at the hotel most days. Locals don't do it - they think we're mad. We were warm enough in shorts & T-shirts (apart from 1st thing), locals were in jeans, jumpers & coats!

No problem at all - the pools are all heated.

I actually swam in the Gulf of Mexico in January - bit cold getting in but otherwise wonderful!

We usually go in November and always swim. As others have said the pools are heated. One of the water parks is usually shut for refub at this time of year so swimming options are slightly more limited.
