Swimming in Late March?

Is it usually warm enough to swim during late March? My 5 and 8 year old are going to want to swim at the pool and do a water park. What's the weather typically like?

We were there end of January 08. We swam in the pools (they are heated) and spent 1 day at Typhoon Lagoon. I think you will be just fine. Have fun!

We always go mid-April and the temps are around 75-80 every day with a fair amount of humidity. It can't be too much cooler than that. The kids will definitely be fine swimming.

Where are you from? We live in Western NY and would be happy swimming in Orlando in December!

I think it depends - I wouldn't bet the farm on it. We were there last March and it was in the high 70's for a few days then it was a high of about 63 for the rest of the trip. My kids did swim every day in the heated to 80 degree pool where we stayed, however, I shivered with towels over my shoulders much of that time. IT was VERY chilly in the shade anytime the sun went behind a cloud. I would not have had any fun at a water park. I don't think the kids would have either - staying IN the water they were fine, but getting out to go to a different slide/pool would have been too cold to handle for very long.

Just my opinion.

Oh and we're from upstate NY, so even though 63 was VERY NICE for touring the parks - it just wasn't warm enough to be dripping wet with the cool air on you.

You can go to weather.com and check the average temps. We do not swim when it is cool, it just depends on what you can handle.
I would say, maybe you can swim but don't get the kids hopes up. And pack for any kind of weather.

What would you think the best months to visit would be considering that the kids would like to swim and do the water parks as well as go to the parks?
