Swimming in January

Is it warm enough to go swim in wdw in January. Just wondering if the pool is even something I need to worry about. Our family loves to swim and will be picking a resort with that in mind. Also do akl, wl or the poly have hot tubs?.

You never know about Jan weather - you could hit a cold snap like we did in one year and it got to 32 one night and highs were around 60. Or you could get 70-80 degree days. I would not count on it being hot, though.

AKL has hot tubs.
As for swimming the Poly pool was freezing when we were there this September.

Its been quite a few years since I stayed at the Poly, but when I was there they did not have a hot tub which is why we haven't gone back even though I really liked the resort. I also love sitting in the hot tub at night to relax my sore muscles from 12+ hours of walking.

We were at Disney this last January and the first two days we were there we swam and it was very comfortable. We're from southeast virginia so I'm not used to alot of cold and I thought it was fine. But our last two days were cold and in the 60's so like everyone else says, you just don't know!!

Poly doesn't have a hot tub, the others do. Hope that helps.
