Swimming in Feb?

We are staying at ASMo for 4 nights in mid-Feb. What will the temperature be like? Are the hotel pools heated? My two kids love the water, wondering if we will need our bathing suites?

When we went last Jan the temps were in the high 60s to mid 70s i think. It was comfy during the day and chilly at night. We went swimming one afternoon and it was fine, could have went a couple more but were too busy.

There's a good chance you'll ge tthe opportunity to swim without freezing your booties off on at least one occassion.

The pools are heated, so even if it's chilly, the water feels great. The problem is getting out and getting back to your room!

We usually go at various times during Februrary due to winter break. We have been able to swim MOST of those times. Definatley bring the suits and keep your fingers crossed.

I have been keeping an eye on the weather too. It seems to be pretty warm down there right now...and Feb is a tad warmer then Jan. Anything will be better then here.

Definitely bring your swim suits, as well as mittens and gloves.
At this time of year the weather can be just about anything one day to the next.

Ihave been many times in February (at least 10) and have always been able to swim for at least part of each trip. Of course, coming from Michigan, the kids want to swim even if it is only 60 degrees out! Usually, though, there are at least some days during each Feb trip where the weather gets into the 70s, so as to make swimming possible and enjoyable.

We swam every day on our January trip. Loved it! Its really not the swimming itself that is the problem, it is the getting out of the pool, brrrrr. But if you love to swim, you'll get in there anyway. Have fun!
