Swimming in December

My family and I will be staying at the Beach club the first week in December. For those of you who go at this time every year, is the weather usually warm enough to swim? TIA

It all depends on where you are from and what is considered warm. If the sun is shining and it is above 65, why not?

I went down the second week in December last year for the first time. While the weather during the day was mid 70's (I wore shorts & tees all week), I thought it was a little breeze to go swimming. I did see people in the pool though and they seemed to be enjoying it. We really lucked out with the weather, because the week before and the week after was much cooler.

Sometimes

Last December is a perfect example: Sat 82 absolutely beautiful, Sun 75 breezy (temps dropped sharply in the evening) Mon, 32 in the morning! low 50's for the high that day but wind chill was lower. Temps climbed back up slowly during the week and we did go swimming on Friday when it was mid-upper 70's

We wore shorts & tank tops, jeans w/t-shirts, sweatshirts and windbreakers/jackets over everything else, gloves & hats all in one week. That is Orlando in December, you just never know

We went in Dec of '05 and it was in the upper 70's and low 80's all week. It got pretty warm.

We have gone at least 6 times during this time frame and out of those 6 weeks, there have probably been 4 total days that were warm enough to swim. We always pack our swim stuff and hope to hit one day that's good enough and we rearrange our plans and hit the water if we get lucky.

We swam alot. We swam with Dolphins at Discovery cove and the temperature was mid 80's. Water was almost too warm! (from Canada with an unheated pool). We swam many days....
