Swimming in Bahamas early November

I have booked the Fantasy November 2nd thru the 6th 2024. Stops at Castaway Day and Lighthouse Point. What weather can I expect? Is it still hot enough during the day to go swimming at the beaches?

I would say it depends where you are from. We are from New England and got off Royal Caribbean this morning and swam at their private island on the 27th. People from Florida did not go in. It was warmer than the ocean here in July. The day we were there it was 76 degrees.

The record cold water temperature in the region is 72. My gym heats their outdoor pool to 70 in the winter and it is usually full of people. So to me, yes, it will be warm enough to swim. But folks around here start using their pools when the water hits about 65.

We were at castaway cay November 10th. We are from Georgia and swam for several hours. We were also at castaway the first week of February and it was too cold for us to swim.

November weather at castaway has been great for us several times.

Happy to hear people swimming in November. I am from New York and just love the beaches and the ocean in the Bahamas.

We were there several times in the beginning of November, we are from NJ and the water was warmer than our Atlantic in the end of august, walked right in.

We were at Castaway on November 3 - it was my worst experience there - very windy and cloudy. The water was fine though. If we had been there the day before, I'm sure it would have been great.
