Swim/LIfe Vests

DD (7 HF autism) enjoys the water but she's only gone into small pools (you know the type for backyard). We're staying at the Poly and this will be her first time in public pool. I'm debating on whether to bring her Speedo swim vest (that she really hasn't used fully yet but now will), or use the one supplied at Poly resort pool How do you rate the life vests at the Poly?

I believe the life vests at all the resorts are the same. They are kind of bulky and covered with a sort of shiny plastic coating. If you have ever used any Tumbleforms therapy equipment, it has the same type of coating.
If she has one that she will use, I guess my suggestion would be to bring that. If you plan to use the one at the resort, she might not like the color or feel, etc of the ones the resort has.
