Swim cover up for boys?

Even those are hard to find for boys. We spent a long time looking for a simple robe.

FWIW, You can find plenty of them on Amazon.

Just FYI, those of us who have only known Southern beaches tend to be very confused when someone starts to talk about needing to keep warm at the beach; that isn't normally something anyone needs to do in the South: if the water temp is warm enough for swimming, then the sand temp is going to be warmer still, and it doesn't get cold at night.

I grew up in a beach town on the Gulf, and I can remember watching surfer movies when I was a little kid back in the 60's, feeling VERY confused by all of the people wearing sweaters at the beach, because I had never seen such a thing. (I was also confused by fires on the beach at night; in my part of the world that was illegal.)

If we're planning on still being on the beach when the sun goes down I just throw sweatshirts into the beach bag.

Thank God you don't live here, then. The 7 year olds in your area would be pretty cold at night on the beach with just their wet rash guards. Those don't protect from cold.

We live in Minnesota and so we know cold nights at the Lake, especially up north. Here, kids just toss on a sweatshirt or fleece and keep going.

I live in New England, and this is what I usually see here too...a fleece or a hoodie....nothing new or extra to buy.

My kids throw on sweat pants and a t shirt in the early mornings on swim meet days when it is cool. Nothing fancy here, lol.
