I have both. I use the swiffer for mopping and use the pledge for sweeping. The pledge works really good at getting up the dog hair.

Just bought the Clorox Ready Mop the other day. I used it for the first time this morning. It works great. Beats the old bucket and mop anyday.

We use the swiffer, but even though it does a good 'surface' cleaning, once a month we still find ourselves down on the floor hand scrubbing dirt that gets into the pits and crevices on linoleum. So while it's good for a quick cleaning, you should still plan on having to do a once in a while, hand and knees scrubbing...

We have sealed hardwood floors on the entire main level. Chlorox used to say "not for wood floors", I think they have changed that, so we bought Swiffer. It left the floos sticky, so we returned it and went back to the old bucket thing. Have not tried pledge. my hubby wants to buy the Floor Mate. I would like to know which ones work best on which floors. We have moved many times and have had all types of floors.

I'd go mad without my SWIFFER!
I have the dry one & the wet jet!
Fast & easy cleaning!

I like the dry swiffer for "dusting", marble floors attrack a lot of dust. I have tried the swiffer wet pads and do not like them. I bought a Clorox wet jet and I love it for the in between times when a full mopping is not necessary.

I used swiffer for a while but went back to the Clean Team Shomop for my wood floors. It is a mop with big fluffy terry cloth covers that I switch as they get dirty. I use about three to do my floors. They are all reusable. They also have a floor cleaner that I like. They have a web site. You can find it on google.

Love the dry Swiffer. I just use the wet Swiffer pads that fit on that for quick wet cleaning of the baths and kitchen.:D

I love the Pledge Grab-its on our wood floor in the kitchen. I have tried the Clorex wet wipes on the bathroom floors, but I do not like them because the floors feel sticky after mopping.
