SWGE AP previews - Meet Ups

We always stay off property because we tend to stay for two weeks at the time. What are the advantages of staying in one of the disney resorts? Would I benefit if I book a couple of nights etc on property during my stay for the preview?

Airport transportation included, and not needing to worry about getting to and from the resort. For me being a solo traveler, it is mostly a convenience thing.

It's Sports. I've only stayed in the Epcot area in all the times I've visited. For one night the room doesn't matter a ton but since there isn't a super deal out there I'm thinking it might be worth a little more $ to stay at Coronado or the Swan.

Yeah I would pay the extra to stay at Coronado since you want DME unless swan is cheaper with the Uber and resort fee priced in.

We were able to book a good flight down (yay team!). I added an extra day onto our itinerary, so we're good to go. I'm bummed that we missed out on Oga's, but the CM I spoke with yesterday said that as far as she knows, the event was booked up by 2 pm. So I guess I'm lucky we got a reservation at all I'll pick up one of the "I'm celebrating" buttons for us both--sounds like fun

I booked AoA std room right after I got the Preview...summer AP rate. Today I just looked and while Pop wasn’t available then, it is now and it’s $30 cheaper. Guess who’s getting an extra souvenir?

I'll be there Aug. 18 11-3, going solo flying in 17-19 and staying at ASMo (since I wasn't planning this trip, and this is my 5th trip this summer, I promised my husband I would keep the cost down lol). I couldn't get Oga's or Savi unfortunately, I'm just happy to see the land and experience what I can before the huge crowds come in.

Well I got my flights from UK which I wanted but now trying to get accommodation for the week. Our usual villa isn’t available.
Can’t wait till 19th, got the 11-3 slot with Savi’s

My dh sort of raised an eyebrow when I told him we were going to the Cantina and not Savi's. But I explained to him that we would definitely do Savi"s opening week when we came back. We have the 5-9pm time slot for the preview and we are figuring on rope drop for opening day....it appeals to me to have adult beverages in that nighttime preview as opposed to having them at 6am.....not that there's a thing wrong with that, lol! I think dh is just really anxious to have that light saber

I promised my nephew a lightsaber so savi’s won the pick. Hopefully get into cantina at some point on 3wk Trip in Nov
I don’t drink so that’s not a big sway for me though I do desperately want to do it so can get the prog and Endor mugs

Ugh me too! I did, however, also get us tickets to the opening night if MNSSHP the night before my preview!

What time does Oga’s open each day? Right at park open? We have a 9-1 slot and have no issues drinking at 9 if we have to (believe me lol) but was just thinking about this in general the other day.

I'm showing this to my DH. He was being all grumpy about us flying down (it's a 1-hour flight) for the preview. LOL, I can't wait to troll him that the true fans are flying in from the UK!
