Just got back from a brilliant night watching Andy Scotts sweet he is an original member of sweet and is backed by some excellent musicians especially the lead singer Tony O'Hora. KEEP MUSIC LIVE!!!

I used to love The Sweet, which one was Andy Scott ? Did you dress up for it and did they play all their hits? I'm pleased you enjoyed it :)

I remember 'The Sweet' - although they were a bit before my time - the lead singer was Brian Connolly so I am not sure who Andy Scott was either?

Andy Scott was the guitarist who stood to the left of Brian Conally on stage. We didn't dress up they did some of their hits but Sweet were quite a heavy rock band as well because it is a rock venue they played mostly rock numbers.Wig wam bam, little willy, hellraiser, sixteens, teenage rampage, and blockbuster all got played.

Well that's a blast from the past :) Glad you had a great time.

I know who you mean now - thanks, I used to really like The Sweet.

Who can forget the age of Glam Rock? Great music, great bands, none more so than Slade led by the greatest singer of all, Noddy Holder.

Hi Deedee

I saw the original line-up several times, Chris Lea was the other member. They also made a film called Flame, about the rise and fall of a band it was really good. Enjoy the concert and make sure you post a review!

Lol

Sounds as though you had a fantastic time :)
